Cnc machining
services
Milling
on a horizontal work centre
This is a CNC mechanical process that consists in the removal of material from a part through the use of a rotating horizontal cutter. The machining centre has a rotary table with continuous B axis which allows milling to be performed on multiple faces of the part.
Thread
milling
It is always part of the milling processes, but this time the mechanical processing consists of creating a thread on the part. The cutter has the shape of the thread profile and performs a circular ramping movement to generate the thread.
Stainless steel milling
on a lathe
It is a mechanical process that consists of removing material from a stainless steel part using a rotating cutter. The latter has the possibility to move in space (x, y, z axes) and generate complex profiles through interpolation with the “C” axis of the spindle.
Brass milling
on a lathe
In this case as well, we remove material from the brass part using a rotating cutter able to move in space (x, y, z axes). It is thanks to this ability that complex profiles are generated through interpolation with the “C” axis of the spindle.
Drilling
with angle heads
It is a mechanical process that consists of drilling inclined holes on a part using a rotating tip. The angular heads allow drilling in different directions with respect to the machine axis, thus optimising production, reducing cycle time and eliminating further tooling.
Deep drilling
30-40 x D
It consists of drilling very deep holes in a piece using a rotating tip. The ratio between the depth of the hole and the diameter of the tip is 30-40 times, so it is a precision drilling that requires adequate lubrication and specific tools, such as gun drills or carbide drills with lubrication holes .
Drilling with high pressure lubrication
on stainless steel
Stainless steel is a rather difficult material to drill, due to its high mechanical resistance and tendency to overheat. Through our lubricated drilling process, it is possible to drill holes on a stainless steel part using a rotating tip. To prevent the part and the tip from overheating, high pressure lubrication is essential, which allows the tip and the part to be cooled and lubricated, improving the quality of the hole and the life of the tip.
0,8 mm micro-perforation
on stainless steel
This is precision machining that requires a high quality tip, a high rotation speed and adequate lubrication, the reason being that steel is a difficult material to drill.
Tapping
on work centre
In this process, the purpose is to create an internal thread on a piece using a rotating tap. The tap is a tool that has the shape of the thread profile and it is screwed by carving the hole previously made on the piece. The machining centre allows tapping to be carried out in an automatic and controlled way by the CNC system.
Tapping
on a lathe
Unlike tapping on a machining centre, here the part rotates thanks to the spindle. The lathe allows us to carry out tapping in an automatic and controlled way by CNC, rotating the part at the perfect speed and making the tap move forward and backward.
Stainless steel
turning
This is a process that allows material to be removed from a piece of stainless steel using a tool. The element undergoes a rotary motion from the spindle, while the tool has a basically rectilinear motion: the combination of the two movements will produce the chip.
Knurling
on brass
It is a process that consists of engraving a part of the surface of the piece in order to obtain a different aesthetic or variation in friction capacity using the knurling tool. As the piece rotates, the knurling wheel moves transversally, synchronising its speed with that of the piece, thus obtaining the knurling.
Broaching
on lathe and on work centre
With this process it is possible to make cuts, grooves and shapes in a hole or on a surface of a part, using a specific tool called a broach. It is a tool composed of a series of cutting edges that remove the material until the required shapes are obtained. With this process we can create complex profiles quickly and accurately.
Diamond cutting
on a lathe
The process called diamond cutting has the aim of creating shiny surfaces with reduced roughness (Ra 0.1 µm), using a cutting diamond tool.
Diamond cutting
of balls
Conceptually similar to diamond cutting on a lathe, the objective is always to obtain shiny surfaces with reduced roughness (Ra 0.1 µm), but in this case the surface is spherical. The tool with diamond cutting edge removes the material, creating the required surface.
materials
We are able to carry out complex processes with different materials and metal alloys, such as brass, steel, bronze, copper. These materials offer different characteristics that adapt to the various needs of our customers and they are used in different sectors. For example, aluminium and copper are corrosion-resistant metals with good thermal conductivity, while steel is an alloy known for its strength, durability, and possibility to be quenched and hardened to further increase its strength.
Our constant commitment to research and development leads us to always find new solutions, test innovative materials with the aim of becoming a reference point in computerised numerical control mechanical processing, also in new application areas, as well as for the production of components for valves and tap fittings.
We work with dedication to meet the needs of our customers, offering high quality products that stand out for their reliability and optimal performance. Our expertise in the CNC mechanical machining sector and our constant search for innovation allow us to remain at the forefront and provide tailor-made solutions.
cnc mechanical machining services
Our company specialises in the processing and production of components for specific sectors, such as valves and taps, which widely use brass balls.
However, our flexibility allows us to adapt to other sectors as well, offering tailor-made solutions even for small batches.
In addition to taps, we are able to supply components for lighting, nautical and automotive. We also offer solutions for pumps and valves, agricultural and earthmoving machinery, elevators and lifting systems, as well as manual and automated weighing systems.
Thanks to our experience and expertise, we are ready to explore new application fields, always guaranteeing the maximum quality and reliability of our products.
